Cambridge City School District will be hosting a Kindergarten Open House on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Cambridge Primary School, 1115 Clairmont Avenue.

The Open House is for our incoming Kindergarten students and their families to visit the school, tour Kindergarten classrooms, and meet Kindergarten teachers. Kindergarten eligible students turn five years old on or before August 1, 2025. 

The goal is for next year’s Kindergarten students to become familiar with the facilities and the teachers so they will be more confident about coming to school. 

“We want our newest and youngest students to feel comfortable and safe when they arrive for the first day of school in August,” said Primary School Principal April Massey. “We also want their families to feel comfortable sending their children to school.”

Mrs. Massey will be at the Open House to answer any questions parents may have about kindergarten or the registration process.
