All Students Eat Breakfast and Lunch for Free
Every student in the Cambridge City School District is eligible for free breakfast and free lunch each day as the district met the guidelines of the Community Eligibility Provision through the Ohio Department of Education.

In previous years, some of the buildings met the standards to be eligible for free breakfast and lunch, but this is the first time the High School has been eligible.

“We are pleased that this program is now extended to the High School,” Cambridge Superintendent Dan Coffman said. “Food insecurity is a real concern for many of our students and this program makes sure all of our students have an opportunity to receive two good meals each school day.”

The Nutrition Group, the company that runs the districts’ cafeterias, is offering each student a hot breakfast choice and several other breakfast options in the morning.

At the Primary School, lunch will include two hot entrees and a kid-friendly alternative. At the Intermediate School, four entrees will be available with pizza being one of the options every day. At the Middle School and High School, there will be six lunch options which include a deli sandwich and pizza daily.

Sometime during the fall, the High School will open a coffee café in the morning for students and staff members who would like a morning beverage.

Menus are available on each school’s webpage under “Quick Links” in the blue menu bar or by following the following link: https://cambridgecity.nutrislice.com/menu.
